tonite on the menu...a pasta dish on the come back!!!...pasta with german johnson tomatoes from the garden...fresh garlic...black olives...fresh basil...with marinated...pan seared shrimp...

another beautiful florida sunset!...

for your shrimp...extra virgin olive oil...garlic powder and cracked black pepper...

give it a mix...in the fridge for a few hours...

your cast for this evening...already been introduced!...

now...in the pan first...extra virgin olive oil and the chopped garlic...saute about 8 minutes...then add in your black olives...saute for another 5 minutes...

time to get your shrimp on...give them a nice pinch of kosher salt...in the cast iron pan with a little bit of extra virgin olive oil...saute 2 minutes a side...

shrimp are on...time to add your tomatoes...you only want to heat these...saute about one and a half to two minutes...pull your pan off the stove...toss in your fresh basil...

shrimp done...tomatoes done...

time to eat!!

a couple of pieces of garlic toast...i have to limit myself !:)...

a little sprinkle of parmesan cheese...a little sprinkle of cayenne pepper...

soooo fresh!...the german johnson tomatoes are soooooo goood!...last year i had only planted 1 of these plants...this year...4 or 5!!...(along with the roma's and florida tomatoes!)...a little sweetness on them...with the garlic...the fresh basil...an occasional black olive...perfect harmony!!

the shrimp?...perfectly seared!!...sooooo tender and succulent!...

...and ya gotta remember to layer your parmesan cheese and cayenne to get that bite every time!!...
