haven't had a stuffed chicken breast in awhile...i still have some beautiful baby bella mushrooms...so tonite...i'm going to stuff my chicken with sauteed baby bella's and gouda cheese...with a simple pasta...grandma annie style...a little butter...a little parmesan cheese...a little kosher salt and cracked black pepper...but instead of jalapenos....habanero peppers!


for your chicken...baby bella mushrooms...gouda cheese...shallots...garlic powder...fresh rosemary and basil...

slice your mushrooms...chop your shallots...in your pan with a little butter and olive oil...your garlic powder...and i'm sure at this stage of our relationship...it's a given...a couple or 3 splashes of white wine!;)...

a pinch of fresh herbs...saute about 18 minutes...let cool...

time to stuff...these were pretty messy!...but i stuffed em' full!...i normally shred the cheese...but gouda is so soft and melty i didn't...next time...SHREDDED!...melts perfectly...and ya get MORE!!...

a light dust of flour...in the fridge for about 1/2 hour...time to get your pasta water on...

pasta done...chicken done...

time to eat!

now...i think that i got a little of my mushroom sauce on my lens...pictures are not as clear as usual :(...

the simple pasta with butter and habanero...delicious!...but with a little drizzle of the rich mushrooms...sooo savory!

the chicken...please...you can see how moist...beautifully crusted...now...the gouda got a little lost...the mushrooms had sooooooo much flavor...they were absolutely out of this world!!...the wine...the butter...the garlic...the little sweetness from the shallot...all together...created a rich...luxurious flavor!...

these mushroom would be fantastic with just about anything!...burgers...pork chops...a piece of plywood :)...they could make anything taste good!...

Just somethimg else, these meals just keep drawing me, calling me to your table!! Wow, the chicken is dreammyyyyyy, the pasta - perfect!!!!! Wonderful!!!!
