now...tonite's menu was NOT one of my recipes up my sleeve...i was in the mood for a a little rice...so...i'm thinkin'...sesame chicken fried rice with mushrooms...and of course...some of those amazing dumplings!


for your chicken...sesame oil...soy sauce...red wine vinegar...hot chile oil...garlic powder...and sesame seeds...

forgot a little brown sugar...give it a mix...

in your zip loc...saving some of your marinade for your dumplings...in the fridge for a few hours...

for your rice...i always precook my rice and spread it on a baking sheet to cool...carrots...onion...fresh garlic...baby bella mushrooms...

get your wok smokin' hot...in goes the chicken for about 4 minutes...i wish you could smell this!!..
pull your chicken...in go your veggies...saute for about 3 minutes...

after 3 minutes...add the rice to your veggies...mix and cook for 2 minutes...then...toss your chicken in...let it cook for another minute...just to warm the chicken...

time to eat...

a little wasabi...a little hot chili oil...

a few china boys...a little dipping sauce...

i can't rave enough about these pork...cabbage and mushroom dumplings...awesome...

i loved my fried rice before...but with these mushrooms...wow!...the sesame chicken...perfect!...a little heat with the chili oil...a little sweet from the brown sugar!...delectable!!
