in the mood for pasta...ALSO in the mood for some hot italian sausage...how about...pasta tossed with a fennel and shallot sauce with grilled asparagus and pan fried italian sausage??...and maybe a little bruschetta on tartine crostini...with a few italian olives...i'm likin' it!...



for your pasta...fresh garlic...shallot...fresh fennel...asparagus...and hot italian sausage...

take your asparagus...a little extra virgin olive oil...cracked black pepper...a pinch of kosher salt...

and a dash of garlic powder...give it a mix...and in the fridge to marinate for about an hour...

now...give your shallot and fresh garlic a nice chop...

 ...your fennel a nice chop...

in your pan on low...a nice splash of white wine :)!...cook for about 25 minutes...

while your fennel and shallots are cooking...grill your asparagus...bring it in...give it a rough chop...

when your done searing your sausage...cut into nice chunks...

in your pan on medium...toss to heat...

time to eat!



tonite...sauvignon blanc...



a sprinkle of parmesan cheese...a few italian olives...



the fresh bruschetta!...bright and delicious...florida tomatoes...fresh basil...a pinch of kosher salt...and a little extra virgin olive oil...on a piece of toasted tartine bread...pairs beautifully 
with this pasta!!...


now the garlic and shallots got a little away from me...SO I THOUGHT!!...the were perfectly carmelized!!...with the mild flavor of the fennel!...sensational!...and please...it's wynn's hot italian sausage...ya can't go wrong!!...
