| ingredients...cheddar cheese...bacon...potato...shallot...fresh garlic...beer...chicken broth...salt...pepper |
| 1st...make your roux...melt some butter into your oil... |
| turn up your heat to high...add flour and whisk continually until smooth... |
| add your chicken broth and beer...put on medium... |
| saute your garlic and shallots in olive oil...add to your pot... |
| had to...a little white wine never can hurt right?! |
| add your bacon...almost forgot...add a splash of cream... |
| finally...your cheddar cheese...put on low... |
| tartine french country bread...the star of the show... |
| cut off the top of your loaf...and hollow it out...making into a bowl... |
| with the top of your loaf...cut into croutons...toss in olive oil ...fresh rosemary and salt...bake at 350 for 12 minutes... |
