tonite on the menu...pizza!...come oooon...a cold front came through this morning...ya know pizza and pasta are my comfort food...tonite we are making a pizza we haven't made in a long time...a covered pizza...made with homemade pizza dough with a sourdough starter...

ingredients...smoked turkey sausage...garlic...green olives...onions...green pepper...mozzarella cheese...homemade red sauce



sourdough starter for the pizza dough...

homemade sourdough... 

take part of your dough and form to the baking dish...a little olive oil...

with the other portion of dough...roll out the top of the pizza...

put your ingredients on your pizza...NOT THE SAUCE...and place your cover on top...

pinch the edges...bake at 450 degrees for about 25 minutes...
